My Worries

A Guru Notebook to Observe, Understand, and Surrender Your Worries

The power of the human mind is incredible. Think of all the stuff you imagine! The mind produces amazing scenarios, some positive and some negative. Now, imagine having more positive thoughts about the near and distant future. Imagine the freedom. Imagine the peace of mind and ease. Imagine the positive vibe throughout your entire being and life!

Unfortunately, we live in a world where negative imaginings can appear to dominate life, causing unnecessary anxiety and adverse states of being, such as depression. However, even though your mind may be conditioned toward thinking and imagining negatively, you can reverse the propensity to worry and rediscover your ability to think positively.

Worry isn’t a physical event, but it can result in physical, emotional, and social consequences. Despite the learned belief that worries are necessary to prevent disaster, help prepare you for a worst-case scenario, or keep you from failing, worries do more harm than good. The act of worrying takes you out of the present moment and keeps you preoccupied with an imagined situation that will more than likely never occur. There is no benefit to worrying. Don’t let worry overcome your life, health, and peace of mind. The first step in overcoming any adverse condition is to observe it. Hopefully, this notebook will help you do just that.

This notebook allows you to observe, describe, and understand your worries. There are fifty entries consisting of a front and back page, and questions to help guide you in observing and exposing the worries you experience. You can title each worry and input its name in the “Content” area for easy reference. In essence, this notebook allows you to be the guru who reduces the worries in your life; because after all…you understand them best. It’s never too late to observe and let your worries drop.

May you live a worry-free life with total freedom to be yourself in the present moment. Life is too precious to be controlled by worry.
